All About Cirqua
Fritz launched Cirqua Studio in 2011, focusing on Residential and Retail interiors, transitioning to private practice from teaching as Interior Design Department Chair at Columbus College of Art and Design. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in American Studies from Northwestern University, a BS in Interior Design from the University of Cincinnati, a law degree from Southern Methodist University and a Master’s in Historic Preservation from Columbia University, where his Thesis on mid-century Modernism explored Interior Design as a key expression of its significance.
Harding serves on the Board of Trustees for the Westcott Center for Architecture and Design in Springfield, OH and was Vice-chair of the Victorian Village Commission until 2014. Before teaching, he gained commercial Interior Design experience with Design Group, Columbus, where his cap-stone project was the historically-significant Art Deco main public library in Toledo. He lives in the Short North (Victorian Village) district of Columbus with his wife and children.
Rick has spent the last twenty plus years in the Interior Design Industry. He began his career as Business Manager / Design Assistant to long time Columbus based Interior Designer, Judith Ledbetter, ASID. Rick later founded R. Sherman Design, Ltd. He has served as Secretary to the Columbus South, W. VA. And Kentucky ASID Chapter.
In his free time, Rick volunteers with the Columbus Museum of Art. He is past President, Beaux Arts auxiliary and served on the board for the Session Society. Currently Rick serves on the Board of Art Escapes, arranging for as well as leading tours around the country on art-related adventures.
